Composition
- Spiromesifen 22.9% SC – IRAC Group 23
Pesticide properties:
- A specialized insecticide/acaricide acting mainly by contact. It belongs to IRAC Group 23 and inhibits acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), disrupting lipid biosynthesis required for pest growth and development; it is also suitable for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
- It targets whiteflies and mites, with strongest activity on eggs, nymphs and other immature stages. Thorough foliage coverage, especially the lower leaf surface, is important for effective control.
